Which courthouse location is your case filed in?

You would think court is court, but actually there are hundreds of courthouse locations in Oklahoma! Even if we narrow it down and just look at criminal courts, there are still lots of different courthouses that handle criminal matters.

The vast majority of criminal cases in Oklahoma will be filed in either federal court, state court or municipal/city court. Where the case is filed depends on what law you are alleged to have violated. For example, if you are alleged to have violated a federal law, your case will be in federal court. If you are charged with violating state law, your case will be in state court.
